10/9/06 five of six dogs tested passed their NA test. The one no pass came during torrential downpours, I'm giving a mulligan on that. A lot of dogs failed or came close to failing that day. We've also earned one Field Dog Junior, which is similar to the field portion of the NA test, but a little tougher on pointing. Roxie required four attempts to get her three passing scores.
9/18/06 Marshfield's A Litter has earned an NA Breeder's Award based on four passing scores averaging over 90 points per dog.
OK that's all fine and good. I'm really happy, but... Hunting season is upon us and that's what hunting dogs are really about. Have fun and enjoy your pups. I hope to see some UT testing on these pups next year and that is a much better indication of how I am doing as a breeder.
